You want a flood of traffic to your website. The more traffic the more people will see your products and more sales you will make. Even Google is responding to the use of video marketing. Google is using a universal search method to track and index videos. You can increase your online presence when you use and submit effective marketing videos.

The first step is to have an effective video. If you have a video of you showing your home office this video is no where as effective as having a video of your live demonstration of your product or another person’s product. So use common sense and create a video that will create interest in your product promotion. Your goal with video marketing is to get a lot of traffic to your website or to another person’s website that is your affiliate product or products you are promoting.

The second step is about the video itself. If you look at the most effective videos out there you will something in common. The videos are personal or passionate. They are either controversial or over the top, they exact a reaction. You can share your opinion in your video as long as you are giving value.

The third step is to provide a ton of useful knowledge that leaves your viewer hanging on because the message is incomplete. This is like article marketing where you whet the viewers appetite for more information.

Step four. You need to get familiar with You Tube. It is the 800 pound gorilla, the big purple elephant in the middle of the room, when it comes to video marketing. There are literally thousands of videos in any one category. You will see this when you go to You Tube and look up in the search results the category you plan to list your video in. This being the case you want your video to shine above the rest. Start by going to the category that you want to promote in and start watching the videos that have a very high view content. Take notes on what you see. These are the videos that are clearly doing very well.

Step five is to build a cheat sheet, a summary of the notes you took down from your video watching. Watch for videos that have the over the top message or the passionate appeal. You will see what you need to do for you to get the same high view results for your video. You can always re do your video so this is not filmed in stone by any means.

Finally, if you see a video that it looks like someone merely has made a video of a computer screen this is what is called a screen capture video and can be created very easily by using screen capture video creating software which is available online. You can use this type of software if you do not want to use an actual video camera to create a video to submit online.
