The Exciting Google Caffeine Though Still Being Developed
A short while ago a friend asked me what I knew about Google Caffeine and all I could think about at that present time was coffee. Curious about what this was, I spent some time looking into what it was. Turns out Google Caffeine is the newest up and coming version of the Google search engine. As a consumer this upgraded version can be helpful to me.
Still undergoing development, Google Caffeine is not yet available. However, Google has made a beta version for users to try out while they finish.
I thought I’d take the new search engine for a test drive of my own and found that for the most part, the Google Caffeine and the original Google search engine are still very similar. There was however, a different in the speed and accuracy of the newer version.
To start off, try comparing the speed of the two search engines. Use just one word and when you get the search results do the same with the newer beta version to compare the difference in how fast it returns results.
I am confident you will find as I did that the beta version is faster than the original search engine was.
The next thing I did was test out the accuracy of the results returned by both Google search engines. I found that the beta version returned many more related search results than that of the original search engine. Also known as ‘less-related’ results, the original Google search engine would return then as a blended search option.
To the general users there may be no problems with this new beta. However, for others this could be a problem as the search engine can interrupt key words thus making the higher ranking results return in lower positions and run the risk of not being seen.
Hence, bloggers may need to update and optimize their sites to fit the new search engine format. Luckily, this is just a beta for everyone to try out and there are more changes to come.
Besides Google Caffeine, the writer also frequently blogs about digital lock and combination padlock.
